About Us |
Julie Briggs studied classical and modern music with the renowned Doctor Donald Isaak and Eugene Pridonoff at Arizona State University. She participated in multiple Solo and Ensemble Festivals in various locations. She was also part of the Phoenix Symphony Guild Young Musicians Competition for three years, receiving superior ratings and excellent adjudications and competed in three Concerto Contests at ASU. Twice she was the recipient of a Mesa, Arizona Music Guild Scholarship and was awarded a place in the Northern Arizona University music honors recital. Julie continues to employ her piano skills through her experiences in accompanying for various groups and musicians. |

Julie Briggs served on the board of the Arizona State Music Teachers Association and was a member of the National Music Teachers Association. She has taught students from ages three to ninety-nine over the past thirty years. Throughout that time, she has planned and conducted piano recitals, developed and directed site reading classes, and privately taught children’s musical theatre groups. |

Julie Briggs has: * Worked closely with the Reading and Burlington Recreation Departments, teaching keyboard classes * Taught at Belmont Hill Private School for over ten years * Designed and taught Keyboard Crash Course * Directed a cable station recital on the BCAT Station in Burlington, MA * Taught at two Montessori schools (Tara and Burlington), KinderCare, Little Professionals, and Knowledge Beginnings pre-schools. * Has taught students with multiple disabilities and special needs. |
For several years, Julie has had students receive high ratings and complimentary adjudications through their involvement in the Arizona State Music Teachers Association Music Study Program. During these adjudication judges made the following comments: “Your students have so much enthusiasm and joy in their music - that’s the most important thing and you’ve got the magic; solid technique, a very musical performance.” – Joanne Caudill “Your students were well prepared.
