A smarter way to learn...
Along with note reading and music theory,
rhythm and counting are also emphasized during
instruction. Julie follows the motto, ”Say it as
you play it”, encouraging students to count aloud
or say names of notes while playing. This
method of learning encourages a higher level of
concentration, resulting in a quicker and more
thorough mastery of the music. Julie believes
that practice makes perfect when the practice is
perfect. Work smarter, not harder!
